Next, we meet 60-year-old Tzu Chi volunteer Han-Cai Xiufeng. Nine years ago, Han`s husband was left paralyzed following a stroke. Since Han had to take care of her sick husband and her grandchildren at the same time, she barely had time to work to provide for her family. Thankfully, Tzu Chi volunteers walked into her life. To reciprocate the volunteers` kindness, Han started practicing recycling and eventually became a Tzu Chi volunteer.
