At the end of 2014, torrential rains inundated Haiti’s Cap-Haitien. To help, Tzu Chi began a cash-for-work program to help local residents clean up the floodwaters. Besides this financial assistance, volunteers were also quick to teach local residents about the importance of sorting recyclables.
2014年底，海地角發生水患，為了幫助這裡的居民，慈濟志工啟動以工代賑計畫，讓居民動手打掃自己的環境，除了能改善居民的經濟之外，也教導他們環保回收的重要性。
