Later in our report, we will meet 57-year-old Tzu Chi volunteer, Xu Mingcheng(許銘城), who lost his right arm in an accident 10 years ago. Despite his injury, Xu(許) chooses to face life’s challenges head on. Since joining Tzu Chi, Xu(許) has also found much fulfillment practicing recycling at the local Tzu Chi recycling station. First, however, let’s go to the recycling volunteers certification ceremony in Pingtung(屏東) and meet two recycling volunteers, Cai Meihui(蔡美惠) and Yang Guolong(楊國龍).
