土讀書樓毛毯Tzu Chi volunteers gifted Syrian children in Turkey 150 blankets from Taiwan

As the Syrian Civil War continues, thousands of Syrian have been forced to seek shelter in neighboring countries such as Turkey. To date, more than three million Syrians have fled their countries. To make sure Syrian children in Turkey can continue their studies, members of the Syrian educational community in Turkey decided to offer them a chance to continue their education. However, without means to purchase materials for the dormitories, the students have had no choice but to sleep on cardboard and covered in thin blankets. To help the children get through the cold winter, local Tzu Chi volunteers gifted them 150 blankets from Taiwan. Furthermore, with the help of a kindhearted person, instead of sleeping on carboard, they now have comfortable and soft mattresses to sleep on.
敘利亞內戰持續中，成千萬的民眾被迫逃離鄰近國家，像是土耳其，目前已經超過300萬敘利亞人逃離家園，為了讓那些逃到土耳其的孩子能夠繼續讀書，一群流亡海外的知識分子，為他們提供免費的讀書機會，但是因為沒有錢購買住宿的物品，學生只好睡在紙板上，蓋上薄薄的毯子，聽到消息，為了幫助孩子度過寒冬，當地慈濟志工帶來150條來自臺灣的毛毯，也因為有善心人士的幫忙，他們不用睡在紙板上了，終於有床墊能讓他們度過長長黑夜。
