Did you know that mangroves are titled as a national treasure in Taiwan? Mangrove generally refers to a group of trees or shrubs that grow in saline coastal sediment habitats in the tropic and subtropics. There were originally six types of mangroves in Taiwan, however, due to overdevelopment, only four kinds are left.
