葫東中秋推素Cooking up a special vegetarian banquet

After learning more about Tzu Chi’s environmental mission and the benefits of a vegetarian diet at a lunar July blessing ceremony, the chief of Hudong Borough in Taipei’s Shezi District decided to ask Tzu Chi volunteers to help organize the borough’s Mid-Autumn Festival banquet. To support the eco-friendly way to celebrate the festival, 600 residents attended the event, bringing their own eating utensils.
因為一場農曆七月，吉祥月祈福會推廣，慈濟素食與環保的理念，台北市社子地區葫東里里長，決定邀請慈濟志工協助舉辦，今年的里民中秋聯歡晚會，而里民也熱烈響應，共有六百人自備環保碗筷，歡喜茹素。
