As the 7th lunar month draws near, traditionally in Taiwan, during this time, large quantities of joss papers are burned and extravagant banquets are held to honor the dead. To educate members of the public on how to observe the festival in a correct manner, Tzu Chi volunteers recently organized various tea gatherings in communities and local businesses across the Greater Taipei Area.
農曆七月馬上就要到了，臺灣民間傳統上，都會燒紙錢，備足牲品，來祭拜好兄弟，為了教育民眾正確的觀念，慈濟志工最近在大台北地區，各社區及公司行號舉辦茶會，宣導不燒紙錢、不殺生的觀念。
