As we reported earlier, Taiwan consumes about 230 kilo-tons of soybeans year, but only produces 3 kilo-tons a year. Though the rest are imported, they are mostly non-food grade genetically modified soybeans. Thankfully, over 500 farmers across the nation have banded together to raise the nation`s soybean production.
之前有報導過，台灣人每年吃掉23萬公噸的黃豆，但每年只生產約3千公噸，其他的必須仰賴進口，但進口的又多是非食物級的基改黃豆，好在目前有超過五百位農民要一起努力提升黃豆的產量。
