Relating to Australia, as part of his second visit to Taiwan, Ipswich Mayor Paul Pisasale was joined by his colleagues in an audience with Master Cheng Yen. During the meeting, Pisasale and his colleagues reaffirmed their hope to gain a better understanding of Tzu Chi, as well as bring what they have learned back into their communities.
也是澳洲相關報導，伊普市長保羅二度造訪臺灣，這次特別帶著藍山市和昆士蘭省，當地官員前來拜會證嚴法師，會中他們承諾，將進一步了解慈濟，並把慈濟的人文帶回當地。
