Dr. Guffy, a dentist from Phoenix who volunteers with the Tzu Chi International Medical Association (TIMA) to provide free medical services, visited DAAI during a trip to Taiwan. During his visit, he also had the opportunity to meet several medical professionals attending the same TIMA annual conference.

From medical-material recycling and TIMA eco-friendly medical apparel to anti-glare and blue-light protective clip-on lenses, Dr. Guffy experienced firsthand how DAAI’s concept of “compassionate technology” goes beyond the products themselves. Each innovation reflects a commitment to safeguarding human life, caring for the Earth, and putting compassion into practical action.

Through technology rooted in care, DAAI hopes to continue connecting environmental sustainability with humanitarian service, allowing every product to carry not only practical value, but also a message of gratitude, compassion, and love for people and the planet.
