A delegation from the Red Cross, including the Vice President and senior managers, visited Taiwan as part of their Tzu Chi cultural journey. Accompanied by leadership from the Tzu Chi USA headquarters — including Executive Director Ms. Chiung-Hsun, Deputy Executive Director Mr. Tang, Program Director Ms. Wen-Li, and Tzu Chi volunteers — the group’s final stop brought them to the Tzu Chi Humanistic Mission Center, where they engaged in meaningful exchange with DAAI.
During the visit, guests expressed deep admiration for DAAI’s dedication and innovation in environmental research and development. Beyond technological achievements, they were especially moved by Tzu Chi’s humanistic spirit — a philosophy rooted in compassion, selfless giving, and unwavering commitment to serving others.
Bringing together the Red Cross’s extensive experience in humanitarian relief and Tzu Chi’s long-standing global efforts in compassionate action, both sides look forward to strengthening future collaboration. Together, they aim to extend support to those in need and continue expanding the reach of compassion — bringing warmth and hope to every corner of the world.
