Seventh-grade students from the Future Talent Program of Taipei Municipal Jinhua Junior High School visited DAAI for an interactive learning exchange. Through active questioning and discussion, students gained deeper insight into how DAAI places environmental protection at the core of its mission — beginning with recycled PET bottles, advancing recycled material research, and playing a key role in the circular economy by giving resources a second life.

During the dialogue, students also learned that recycled textiles represent far more than environmental labels. They embody a full life-cycle approach, encompassing raw material sourcing, manufacturing processes, product use, and post-consumer recycling — reflecting a comprehensive sustainability mindset.

In the interactive discussions, students showed particular interest in how sustainability can be integrated into everyday school life, including reducing single-use plastics, choosing eco-friendly products, and naturally incorporating recycled materials into campus wear and learning environments.

Through the sharing of real-world examples, students came to understand that “experience comes first, belief follows, and action grows naturally” — a practical and life-centered approach to advancing sustainable behavior.
