During labor day weekend in China, tourists left up to eight tons of garbage at Tiananmen Square in one day, much of which could have been recycled. To promote the idea of waste reduction and recycling, Tzu Chi volunteers in Hebei and Hubei recently visited community squares and tourist destinations with an important message. Let’s take a look.
