Back in China’s Fujian Province, the scenic view of Yushan Island attracts many holidaymakers, looking to escape the hectic city life. Due to its popularity, the island also experiences its share of valuable resources simply thrown away as trash, thus a recycling volunteer has been working hard to pass on Master Cheng Yen’s environmental message, by actualizing the concept in the local community.
