清潔隊吉祥月+美吉祥月Promoting concept through garbage trucks in Hualien City&praying for all sentient beings in the United States

In the United States, for the past eight years, Dallas Tzu Chi volunteers have been holding vegetarian events during the seventh lunar month to encourage the public to go meatless. Meanwhile, in New Jersey, Tzu Chi volunteers chanted the Earth Treasury Sutra along with dharma masters in Hualien’s Jing Si Abode to pray for peace and harmony. But first, we go to Taiwan, where the Buddhist NGO joined hands with the Hualien City Office to educate members of the public on the correct way to mark the seventh lunar month.

在美國，過去八年來，達拉斯慈濟志工都會在七月吉祥月舉辦齋戒活動，鼓勵民眾吃素保護地球。此外，在紐澤西，慈濟志工跟著花蓮靜思精舍的師父一起連線拜地藏經，為天下眾生祈福。但一開始我們先到臺灣，慈濟基金會和花蓮市公所合作，教導民眾如何用正信正念度過農曆七月。
