想遠離食安危機的另外一種方法就是自己栽種蔬菜，雖然住在像高雄市這樣的都會區，一對退休夫妻卻租了一塊空地，用有機的方式栽種，而嘉義新港的一個有機農場也吸引了當地其他農民的注意並同時供給健康的蔬菜給客戶。
