Inaugural Meeting of the Ministry of Environment’s Heat Resilience Alliance

In response to the growing risks of extreme heat caused by climate change, Da Ai Technology—deeply engaged in environmental education—proudly joined as a founding member of the newly formed Heat Resilience Alliance initiated by the Ministry of Environment. Through cross-sector collaboration among industry, government, academia, and research institutions, the alliance aims to advance the heat resilience industry, protect vulnerable populations, and build a climate-adaptive, sustainable Taiwan. It all begins with individual actions, united to drive meaningful change.

The Yunlin Parent-Child Growth Class held an interactive sharing event today, where children learned how to care for the Earth through games, storytelling, and guided tours of eco-friendly products. Parents joined in group discussions, creating a warm and heartfelt atmosphere.

By combining education with fun, environmental values were gently instilled in the hearts of the young participants, while also strengthening understanding and collaboration between parents and children.

The 2025 World Environment Day event, held on June 7 at Taichung Wenxin Forest Park, centered around the theme “Beat Plastic Pollution.” The lively celebration featured stage plays, a family-friendly cinema, energetic singing and dance performances, and interactive booths promoting plastic reduction and food conservation.

Blending education with entertainment, the event created a vibrant and engaging atmosphere. The Ministry of Environment, in collaboration with local governments and civil organizations, came together to promote low-carbon, eco-friendly lifestyles. The public was encouraged to take action in their daily lives, turning sustainability into a collective force for change.

The 2025 Carrefour Cultural and Arts Festival kicked off in grand style at the Xinying Sports Complex in Tainan. In support of the event’s core theme, “Net Zero and Sustainability,” the Tzu Chi Foundation deployed its Mobile Environmental Education Vehicle to the venue, promoting circular economy concepts and environmental education—becoming one of the festival’s main highlights.

The education vehicle featured an interactive checkpoint design that engaged the public with topics such as the “5 Rs of Sustainability,” basic recycling knowledge, and the decomposition timeline of waste materials. The exhibit sparked enthusiastic participation and reflection among children and adults alike. Volunteers noted that many parents stopped by because their children were eager to take part, and many were touched by the experience, choosing to stay and learn together about ways to protect the planet
