慈濟大學嘉義社教推廣中心於2012年6月啟用，每期結束後為了廣泛讓社區會眾了解慈濟人文之美及各課程教學內容，特別舉辦學習成果展。2017年5月14日，嘉義靜思堂浴佛大典結合社教中心五週年成果展，盛大舉行。社教中心活動中設有動態課程演出、慈樂飄揚的二胡樂器演奏、靜態作品展示與體驗等。

而在此次成果展中，兩位司儀師姊身穿大愛感恩科技環保人文傳薪服飾，現場主持展現莊嚴優美身形。以「傳薪」服飾來表達環保背後所具有的「惜福」精神，除了呈現中國服儀之美以外，更有的是清新脫俗、高雅簡約的美感，也是廣行恆持的環保愛心，正如同大愛感恩科技所傳達「品人文、涵福慧、傳大愛」之價值。

Quite a lot of our daily necessities are made from crude oil, including food, clothing, household product, and fuel for transportation. However, the more we rely on oil, the more waste we create. Fast fashion trend leaves a pollution footprint, and generates potential environmental hazards. Polyester (PET), made from petroleum, is the most widely used manufacturing texture fiber. According to Technical Textile Market statistics, the current fast fashion trend has nearly doubled production demand for man-made fibers, especially PET, over past 15 years. Being one of the largest textile countries in the world and to counter this crisis, Taiwanese government started utilizing renewable energies, such as solar, wind, or biomass. If we can change our mindset and modify our living habit to embrace renewable energies, we can actively make major difference in improving the world on a large scale.

Master Cheng Yen often talks about our “mind effect” is more powerful than the “greenhouse effect,” since our thoughts and attitudes can interact and influence our surroundings. For example, we create waste through our daily habits and desires, but if human consume less of Earth’s resources, starting from reduce energy consumption and use the renewable energy, then we can prevent Earth’s resource from exhausting and guard the beautiful planet. “Everyone has the responsibility to protect the planet,” and that includes you and me.
