2018 iF Design Award goes to DA.AI’s Eco Puncture-Proof Series

Last year (2017), DA.AI’s Eco Puncture-proof Casual Shoes received the Red Dot Product Design Award Honorable Mention and China Good Design Award winner. The honor continues this year, as the puncture-proof shoes series is once again recognized by the iF organization. The unique protective feature, eco fabric, and animal loving concept add up to the DA.AI Eco Puncture-Proof Series, a new iF Design Award 2018 winner.

Since 1953, iF has been a sign of excellent design. The award is viewed as a trustworthy symbol of quality, a testimony of brand, and a competitive recognition, as it stands as the top three design awards of the world together with Red Dot and Industrial Design Excellence Awards (IDEA) for decades.

DA.AI designer, Yali Hsu, of the puncture-proof shoes series said, “those awarded multi-functional shoes developed based on Tzu Chi’s disaster relief demands, has improved with eco trendy design concept, eco fabric, and fly-knitting technique. This not only minimizes fabric (no leftover or trimmed fabric), but also maximizes breathability. Puncture-proof functionality and comfortable insole provide wearer safety, as well as Great Love of animal loving spirit (not using animal skin) and
Earth’s limited resource.
