DA.AI’s Pressure Garments Received the 14th National Enterprise Innovator Award

(Photo by: DA.AI Technology Co., Ltd.)The 14th National Innovation Award ceremony was held on December 9th in Taiwan, and honored many innovative leaders, including biomedical companies and academic organizations with the Taiwan Medical Technology Exhibition for the very first time in this event. Integrating biomedical networks with a series of professional medical brands/services in Taiwan, this event not only attracted medical professionals from 58 countries, but also allowed winning team to talk or cooperate with their potential partners.

Tzu Chi’s medical affiliate and educational affiliate, as well as DA.AI Technology, have received several awards in this event. For example, DA.AI’s super functional pressure garments for limbs received an Enterprise Innovator Award in Medical Equipment and Facility category in this competitive event. DA.AI’s R&D Director, Dr. Lori Chen, illustrated that “we find a scientific way of measurement to provide burnt patients a medical level pressure garment with pressure evenly distributed. This innovative invention can help fasten hypertrophic scar recovery period, and with cool, breathable, and comfortable pressure garments, provides high comfort to users.”

Tzu Chi University of Science and Technology has developed many products out of bioactive fiber extracted from quinoa, while Hualien Tzu Chi Hospital’s research team has developed a new drug to help patients with Lou Gehrig’s disease. These two inventions have won the 14th National Innovation Award. DA.AI and other Tzu Chi’s affiliates sincerely hope that our research and innovation can benefit more people through humanistic inventions.
