DA.AI R2R was awarded in Malaysia

Taiwan is a large textile manufacturing country, its textile industry alone creates 150,000 to 200,000 tons of disposal fabric from yearly manufacturing, and causes a great impact to the environment. The problem with textile product, regardless of coming from virgin or eco materials, is that it becomes garbage eventually. DA.AI not only develop recycled textile raw materials, but also turns recycled Re-PET fabric/chip back into new eco garments and accessories in 2015; we named it Recycle to Recycle (R2R) Product Series.

R2R Series includes fleece blanket, vest and scarf, as well as 3D mask, glasses frame, hanger, protective sun-goggle, etc. The R2R anti-glare protective goggle comes from revived waste blankets or discarded textile leftovers, which aims to “prolong material life to cultivate blessing and wisdom.” In addition, R2R conveys the spirit of health and safety protection. Gray and yellow lenses of R2R goggle is coated with Nano high-tech reflective coating. They comply with EN1836:2005 standard for blocking off UVA, UVB, and blue light. Gray lens is designed for sunny day, while yellow lens is suitable for driving at night, for people wearing glasses or contact lenses.

DA.AI not only developed R2R Series and patented it in Taiwan and mainland China, but also participated international events to promote this concept. After winning the 7th International Innovation and Invention Competition (IIIC) golden award last December, the R2R was awarded silver in the 16th Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) Invention & Innovation Awards in February, 2017. MTE aims to uphold inventors, innovators and industries to establish scientific progress with their specific goal to change the world. DA.AI’s R2R spirit, once again, received international recognition, and represented symbol of love for environment and the world.
