The Glorious 25 years of the Taiwan Excellence Award

The 25th Taiwan Excellence Award held in the Taipei International Convention Center on February 15, 2017 also celebrated its “Glory 25th Anniversary”. This is an award instructed by the Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA), organized by the Bureau of Foreign Trade, and implemented by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA). The MOEA aims to transform domestic industries by promoting quality, design, and image of their products with added value. Taiwan Excellence Award, launched in 1993, evaluated products based on R&D, design, quality, marketing, and made in Taiwan (MIT) aspects.

This year, the award goes to 230 companies and 528 products from different industries to enhance Taiwanese industry innovation, create country-of-origin effect, and assist Taiwanese brands in raising global awareness. DA.AI’s Pureness White Series of Heritage Apparel and Eco LOHAS Series were both given the great honor of the 2017 Taiwan Excellence Award. DA.AI’ full-time volunteer/Design Director, Cathy Hong, received the award that demonstrated the brand’s innovation and excellence.
